We respect your privacy

GDG Informatique et Gestion inc. (hereinafter, « GDG ») prepared this Privacy and Non-Disclosure Policy (hereinafter, the « Policy ») in order to explain how it uses and discloses the personal information it collects through its Website. In fact, the Policy applies to www.gdginc.com as well as to any and all sub-sites which explicitly post it online or simply refer to it.

GDG will take all security actions, initiatives, and measures in order to prevent (or resolve) any and all incidents involving a breach of personal information.

Responsible government agency

Although you have the right to file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information (also known as the « CAI ») in regards to any failure or misconduct on the part of GDG when it comes to the collection, storage, use, disclosure, or deletion of personal information, we recommend that you discuss any such issue with the PIPM before doing so.

Links to third-party websites

As you may surmise, the Website might contain links to third-party websites that are in no way operated, managed, or endorsed by GDG. Hence, it is understood and agreed that such links are provided for convenience only. GDG hereby disclaims any and all liability in connection with the content of such third-party websites and of their respective privacy and non-disclosure policies. In fact, we strongly recommended that you familiarize yourself with such policies before submitting any kind of personal information to third-party websites.

Security measures

We have designed and implemented several physical, technical, and administrative measures aimed at ensuring that the personal information you provide by means of the Website is not unlawfully accessed, used, or disclosed.

Please consult our « Contact » page in order to learn more about the personal information you have willfully disclosed through the Website, as well as how to access, update, correct, or delete such information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Cookies and server logs

As mentioned in the section entitled « Collection and Use of Personal Information » GDG may use cookies in order to obtain information about the visitors of its Website. In reality, cookies are tiny text files that your computer’s hard drive transmits through your browser so other systems can recognize you. You can deactivate the use of cookies at any given time by modifying the settings and preferences recorded by your browser.

GDG may also use server logs in view of collecting information about visitors. Such server logs might be reviewed for security purposes (including the detection of unauthorized network accesses). In the event where any kind of criminal offense was committed, the rough data provided by server logs (including the IP addresses of visitors) could help identify and track down a specific individual – in which case they may be shared with agencies in charge of the investigation. Neither cookies nor server logs will ever allow one to draw a connection between information collected automatically and personal information provided willfully through the Website.

In addition, on the GDG Website, GDG and its advertising providers (Google and Meta) use embedded pixel technologies to identify unique User visits for conversion measurement. In this way, the behavior of Website visitors can be tracked and the effectiveness of advertisements can be evaluated and optimized for future advertising initiatives. The data collected is anonymous to GDG as the operator of the Website so that GDG cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored by Google and Facebook, who may use this data for advertising purposes in accordance with the data usage guidelines of their respective websites. The use of this data cannot be influenced by GDG as the operator of its Website.

By using the Website or any of its sub-sites, you implicitly agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with applicable law and the provisions of this Policy.

Amendments

GDG may modify this Policy at any given time, at its sole and absolute discretion, and without the need for any prior notice.
